Gary Kerschke

Gary John Kerschke, 52, of Crystal Lake, died Sunday, February 12, 2012, at his home.

He was born May 5, 1959, in Elgin, to Jackie (nee Fick) and the late Willard Kerschke.

Gary had a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles.

In addition to his mother, Jackie (John) Kraus of Mt. Carroll, survivors include his sons, Gary (Valerie Boniecki) Kerschke of Palatine and Chad (Lisa Abbott) of Crystal Lake; grandchildren, Renee Kerschke, Lucas Remley, and Mackenzie Schumacher; sisters, Gail Kerschke of Batavia and Gina (Dan) Wisdom of Sycamore; and nieces, Nicole and Lauren Wisdom.

The visitation will be Thursday, February 16, from 3-9 p.m., at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Route 176), Crystal Lake.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, February 17, at the funeral home. The Reverend Dr. Larry Tieman will officiate. Interment will be in St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery, Schaumburg.
