Genelle Howe

Genelle L. Howe, 52, of Barrington passed away peacefully on December 13, 2017. She was born on February 2, 1965 in Chicago to Thomas and Madeline (nee Germain) McKenna.
Genelle’s world revolved around her boys. She loved to cook and spent hours teaching Brad, and sometimes Reid, secrets of her cooking skills in the kitchen. Genelle lit up every room she was in and loved to be around family and friends. She was a firm believer in living in the moment and always being the last guest to leave a party.
Genelle will be deeply missed by her loving husband, John; sons, Brad and Reid; mother Madeline; brother Gregory; extended family David, Claudia and Quinn Jackson and so many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends from all over. She was preceded in death by her father Thomas.
A celebration of Genelle’s life will be held on Thursday, December 21 4pm to 7pm at Anastasia's, 950 Hillside Ave, Antioch, IL 60002. Interment will be private.
