Genevieve Eubanks

Genevieve “Jenny” Eubanks,95, of Port Barrington, IL, passed away Wednesday July 20,2011, in Barrington.

She was born on December 17, 1915 in Chicago to August and Genevieve (Fritz) Herrmann.

Jenny was raised in Chicago and spent the last 35 years of her life surrounded by family and friends in the Village of Port Barrington. She was employed for many years as an executive secretary for The Austin Company.

Jenny is survived by her loving husband of 30 years Paul; dear children, Jean (Robert) Hager and Jack R. (Judy) Motley; step children, Kristine (Jerry) Sulivan, Paul S. Eubanks and Kathleen (Lloyd) Locke; grandchildren, Cheryl Hager, Robin (Rick) Eaton, Jack D. (Carole) Motley and Jay (Shelly) Motley; step-grandchildren, Spencer Locke and Grant Locke; great-grandchildren, Dillon Eaton, John Motley, Jordan Motley, Paige Motley, Zachary Chapman, Jake Motley and Carly Motley and cousin Vi Zimmanck.

She was preceded in death by her first husband John Motley; daughter, Joan Motley; and brother, Edwin Herrmann.

Visitation will be held on Sunday July 24, from 4-9pm., at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 East Terra Cotta Ave. (Rt. 176) Crystal Lake, IL, 60014. The Funeral Service will be held Monday July 25 at 11am at the funeral home, with Rev. Dr. Arn Schaper officiating. Interment at Windridge Memorial Park, Cary, will follow after the service.
