George Bargoni

Woodstock, Illinois,George Bargoni, 91, of Crystal Lake, IL, passed away on March 7, 2011, in Crystal Lake. George was born in Hoboken, New Jersey to Leandro and Ida (nee Lucarini) Bargoni, on December 6, 1919. George was a man who touched many people?s lives. He enjoyed telling stories to his family and friends. George enjoyed carpentry work, he built just about everything, for all but himself; he was considered to be an all-around gifted handyman. He will be missed by all who have met him, because he was loved by all who were a part of his life. George was the leader of what he liked to call the "Bargoni Clan", leading and orchestrating family events. He is survived by his loving children Carol (Jim) Hatch and Wendy Thompson; cherished grandchildren, Brian (Bree) Hatch, Brenda (Ray) Lang and Grant Thompson; and dear great-grandchildren, Reegen Hatch, Lainee Hatch and Xahria Hatch. George was preceded in death by his loving wife Bonnie Bargoni; parents; and siblings, Anthony Bargoni and Elvira Bargoni. Interment will be private.
