George Edward Emmerick,70, of Lake Barrington Shores, passed away, December 31,2012, in Chicago.
He was born on July 3,1942, to George and Marie Emmerick in Chicago.
George worked for many years at W.W. Grainger, Inc. as a human resources manager. He enjoyed playing the piano, reading and traveling.
George is survived by his wife, Sue (nee Hittle); sisters, Gerry (Don) Ondich of Allen, Texas and Marie (Paul) Arnold of San Jose, California; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 5,2013, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 Ela St. (corner of Franklin and Ela Streets), Barrington IL 60010.
Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in the future.
