George McClarity

Born August 30, 1930 in Boston, Massachusetts, George passed away surrounded by his loving family at his home on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the age of 84.

George proudly served six years in the US Air Force. He was also a member of the VFW, American Legion, and was involved with the Boy Scouts for over 10 years.

In addition to his loving wife of 60 years, Elaine, he is survived by his daughter, Stacey Ann (Steve); daughter-in-law, Barbara; grandchildren, Andrew (Olivia), Kevin, and Samantha; great-granddaughter, Ailie; and sister, Hazel Hudson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Hazel McClarity; and sons,
Scott Andrew, John, and Joseph McClarity.

A memorial visitation for George will be held Friday, May 22, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 149 W Main St., Barrington, IL 60010.
