George Warfield

George Warfield,69, of Crystal Lake passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2011 after a long illness.Born on August 21, 1941 in Chicago to Charles and Margaret (Stull) Warfield, he served in the US Army from 1964 to 1966 and was a member of the Third Armored Division in Germany from 1964 to 1965.He was united in marriage to Maria Renedo in Madrid, Spain on February 5, 1966.His career in banking spanned 50 years and he retired from Harris Bank in 2010.He is survived by his wife, Maria; their daughter, Carmen; their son, Richard (Amanda); grandchildren, Max, Rachel, Allison, Jacob, Anthony, and Emily; brother Ray (Alice); and sister Frances (David) Bakst.The visitation will be 5-9pm, Monday August 15 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake. Family and friends may gather at 9:45am, Tuesday, August 16 at the funeral home for transfer prayers before going in procession to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, 1023 McHenry Ave, Crystal Lake to celebrate the Funeral Mass at 10:30a.m. Inurnment will be private.In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, 1023 McHenry Ave, Crystal Lake IL 60014.
