Barrington,The Mass of Christian Burial for Gerald F. Bataille, 79, will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, November 2, 2009, at St. Anne Church, 120 Ela St. (at the Corner of Franklin St.), Barrington, where there will be visitation from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass. Father Jack Dewes will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington. Born October 7, 1930 in Chicago, he passed away suddenly, Friday, October 30 2009, at his home. Mr. Bataille was a 1958 graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University, where he was a member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Survivors include his wife, Lois "Hodo" (nee Wiedenheft), whom he married March 17, 1959; children, Bryan of Minneapolis, Tianne of Chicago, and David (Kerri) of Long Valley, NJ; grandchildren, Barrett and Bailey and Melissa, Leah, and Madeline; brothers, James (Judy) and William; and sisters, Suzanne and Jeanne. He was preceded in death by his children, Michelle and Peter; parents, Gerald and Audrienne (nee Jones); and sister, Audrienne.
