Geraldine C. (Kot) Piechowski

Geraldine C. Piechowski (nee Kot), age 85, of Arlington Heights, IL passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 with her loving family by her side.

Geraldine was born in Chicago, IL on June 5, 1936 to Albert and Frances Kot. She served on the choir and banner committee at St. Zachary’s Church. In addition to many other volunteer positions, Geraldine was also a second grade catechist at St. Mary’s Church in Huntley, IL where she was also a member of the rosary committee and served as a lector. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Geraldine is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, LeRoy Piechowski; loving children, Gloria (Rich) Palmblad and Glenn (Patricia) Piechowski, Cindy (Mariano) Grana; cherished grandchildren, Eric (Michelle) Palmblad, Joseph (Rebecca) Piechowski and Anthony (Paulina) Grana; and great-granddaughter, Charlotte Piechowski.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Frances Kot.

A visitation for Geraldine will be held from 4pm until 8pm on Friday, October 15, 2021 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 941 S. Old Rand Road, Lake Zurich. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am the following morning at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 33 S. Buesching Rd, Lake Zurich.
