Gloria Brom, 92, of Barrington formerly of Lakewood, CO passed away peacefully in her home on April 21, 2019. She was born on October 10, 1926 in Chicago.
Gloria worked as a ticket agent for United Airlines, BOAC and Air France. She was also a director for MaryKay Cosmetics.
Survivors include her sister, Lydia McCulley; nieces, Deborah Thompson, Karen (Chip) Thompson, Lynn (John) Mrkvicka and Gloria (Wayne) Wittenberg; nephews, Mark (Juanita) Thompson, Gregory Thompson, Clifford McCulley, and Stephen (Carrie) McCulley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Libor Brom, who she married on August 31, 1961 in Denver, CO; parents, Domingo and Anita Nee Gurcia Mena; sister, Mary (William) Thompson; brother-in-law, Olin McCulley; and a nephew, Marty Thompson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 25 at St. Anne Church, 120 Ela St. (Corner of Franklin and Ela Sts), Barrington where the family will be receiving friends from 9 am until the time of mass. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington.
