Gwen S. Mundell

Gwendolyn S. Mundell passed away unexpectedly April 22, 2023 at her home in Barrington. She was born October 7, 1946 to John and Martha Mundell.

Gwen retired from Bryan Junior High in Elmhurst where she proudly taught English for over 40 years.  Following retirement Gwen spent time traveling and enjoying time with her family.

She is survived by her sisters, Mary (Roger) Listenberger and Chris (Stan) Pepper; brother, John (Christine) Mundell; nieces, Cassi, Jaime, Molly, and Becky; nephew, Jake; and many dear friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30am, Friday April 28th at St. Michael Episcopal Church 647 S. Dundee Ave, Barrington.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Gwen’s name may be made to a charity of your choice.
