Harold Lester Grindstaff

Harold L. Grindstaff, 74, of Stoney Creek, TN, was born on October 26, 1942 to the late George L. and Pairlee Grindstaff, and passed away on August 22, 2017. Harold was the husband of Kathleen Grindstaff for 14 years; husband of Judy Grindstaff for 15 years; loving father of Daniel and Paul Grindstaff, and Wendy Jones; loving grandfather of Isabelle, Ilya, Emma, Andrew, Matthew and Sophia Grindstaff, Scott and Mark Jones; brother of Carl, Rueben and the late Juanita Grindstaff.
Harold was a member of the United States Air Force where he worked on cryptography during the Vietnam War.
Visitation for Harold will be held on Sunday, August 27, from 4:00-7:00pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake, IL. Visitation will continue on Monday, August 28, from 10:00am until the time of his service at 11:00am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Crystal Lake Union Cemetery, Crystal Lake, IL.
