Harry “Bud” Brinkman, age 90, passed away peacefully on Saturday October 16, 2021.
Harry was born in Chicago, IL on August 14, 1931. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and served his country honorably during the Korean War. Harry was a long-time member of St. Anne’s Catholic Community in Barrington, IL and had tremendous musical talent, playing both the accordion and the keyboard. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Harry is survived by his loving children, Thomas (Mary), Daniel (Jill), Patricia (Bill), and John (Nimmy); cherished grandchildren, Timothy (Jessica), Tierney (Damian), Christina (Sean), Breana (Sean), Jonathan, Joseph, Bryce, Julie, and Mary; great-grandchildren, Charlie, Teddy, and Evelyn Irene; and dear friend to Karen Robinson.
Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marguerite Brinkman.
A visitation for Harry will be held on from 9am until the time of Mass at 10am on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at St. Anne’s Catholic Community, 120 Ela St., Barrington, IL 60010. Entombment to follow at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, IL.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to “Friends of St. Thomas of Villanova” (school music program) 1201 E Anderson Drive Palatine, IL 60074.
