Henry was born October 4, 1927 in Chicago. He passed away peacefully at his home November 23, 2018.
Henry is survived by his wife of 65 years, Elaine; children, Ron (Mary Tuxhorn) Siska, Mark (Martha) Siska, JoAnn (George) Pelesh, and Brigitte (John) Misko; grandchildren, Jason (Jill) and Adam Siska, Clare and Anna Siska, Brady and Henry Pelesh, and Maxwell and John Misko; great grandson Finn Siska; sister, Janet (late Ernie) Cerek; and sister in law Jean Siska. He was preceded in death by his brother Edward Siska and his parents.
Henry was a beloved husband, devoted father and loving grandfather who served his country in the United States Coast Guard. He was an accomplished design engineer contributing too many notable ventures including his favorite “Pac-Man”. He loved fishing with his family but more importantly loved consuming the “catch”. Henry was an avid Chicago and Notre Dame sport’s fan but most of all revered the game of baseball culminating by the Cubs winning the World Series in 2016.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11am Saturday December 8 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 N. Ela Street, Barrington. There will be visitation at the church for one hour prior to mass. Burial will follow in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
