Herbert “Herb” Ducey,88, of Barrington, passed away on Monday, November 14,2011, in Wauconda.
Herb was born on July 17,1923, to John and Bessie Ducey, in Richmond, Illinois.
Herb is survived by his loving wife, Helen (nee Stewart); children, Linda (William) Iversen, Daniel (Phyllis) Ducey, Cynthia (Andrew) Cholewa and Joan (Brian) Mueller; grandchildren, Erik Iversen, Karin(Jaime) Bellalta, Sherry (Claude) Erlewein, William (Marta) Iversen, Jennifer (Jason) Peterson, Daniel Ducey, David Cholewa, Stephen Cholewa, Jake Mueller, Rachel Mueller and Cole Mueller; great-grandchildren, Emmelyn, Israel, Elizabeth, Annabelle and Simon Peterson, and Nella and Sonia Iversen; brother, Fred (Fran) Ducey; sister-in-law, Alice Pierce and many nieces, nephews cousins.
Herb was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a sister.
Memorial service will be held at 10am, Wed., Nov, 23rd, the Community Church of Richmond, 5714 Broadway, Richmond IL, 60071.
Inurnment will be following the service, at Richmond Cemetery, Richmond IL, where there will be military honors.
