Herbert Price, Jr

Herbert C. Price, Jr., 86 of Huntley, formerly of Barrington.

Born December 19, 1928 in Freeport, IL, he passed away October 29, 2015 in Crystal Lake.

Herb spent his entire career as an educator, coach, and principal in the Barrington School District 220 until his retirement. He was a beloved mentor to many teachers and students.

Herbert is survived by his children; Sara (Rick) Tustin, and Charles (fiancé Gayle) Price; grandchildren, Jennifer Brasted, Claudia Price, and Jack Price; and sister, Jane (William) Schuler. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Jean Marie, his parents Lenore and Herbert C. Price, Sr, and sister Mary Ellen (Newell) Kessinger

Visitation will be held from 9am until the time of the funeral service at 11:30am, Wednesday, November 4 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St (Lake-Cook), Barrington. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery will follow the service.
