Hermann M. Schamberger Jr.

Hermann M. Schamberger Jr, 83, of Deer Park, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2021. He was born on May 17, 1938 in Chicago to Hermann Sr. and Charlotte Schamberger.

Hermann graduated from Lake Forest College and later attended Chicago Kent College of Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate. He was the 2nd generation owner of Schamberger Bros. Inc, Beer Distributors in Villa Park.

Hermann is survived by his wife of 59 years, Arlene (nee Panek); children, Maryann (Larry) Buettner, Hermann III (Katherine), Joseph (Amy), John (Karen) Schamberger; grandchildren, Charlotte, Lauren, Ashley (Mason), Augie, Madeline, Isabelle, Ella, Hermann IV, Greta, Jason and Christian.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by his brothers, Gerhart and Ronald.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 3, from 10 AM until the funeral mass at 11 AM at Saint Anne Catholic Community, 120 Ela St. (Corner of Franklin and Ela Sts.), Barrington. Private family burial will be held following mass.
