Howard Gardiner

A memorial service for Howard S. Gardiner,58, of Barrington, will be held at 4 pm, Saturday, Feb. 4 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W Main Street (Lake Cook Rd), Barrington.  The visitation will be at 12 pm until the service at the funeral home.  Father Jack Dewes will officiate.

Born April 19, 1953 in Waukegan, he passed away unexpectedly on January 28, 2012 in McHenry.

Howard was a self-employed commercial photographer and was the sole fashion editorial photographer for Bleech Magazine. He was an avid cubs fan and enjoyed brewing his own beer.

Survivors include Ann Rintz, his wife of 29 years; mother-in-law, Marilyn Rintz; sister-in-law, Denise (Tom) Brehm, brothers-in-law, Christopher (Kathy) Rintz, David (Mary) Rintz, Paul Rintz; and many loving nieces, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents,  Russell and Genevieve  (nee Martin) Gardiner; and brother, David Gardiner.
