Irene Moritz
May 15, 1940 — March 19, 2017
After nearly 53 years of marriage, Bernard Hans Moritz, Sr, 80, and Irene Wilma Moritz, 76 of Crystal Lake, IL passed away peacefully within days of each other on March 17 and March 19, respectively.
Visitation will be held Wednesday March 29, 2017 from 10 AM until the funeral service at 12 Noon on at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014. Interment with military honors to follow at Windridge Memorial Park, Cary.
Bernard Hans Moritz, Sr. was born January 3, 1937 in Germany. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army and enjoyed golf.
Irene Wilma Moritz, nee Gliedt, was born on May 15, 1940 in Lithuania. She was an avid sewer and enjoyed making items for those in need.
Grateful for having shared in Bernard and Irene’s lives are their son, Bernard Hans Moritz, Jr.; grandson Adam Moritz; granddaughters, Rebecca and Hannah Moritz, great-grandson, Kamiron.
Bernard and Irene were preceded in death by their parents.
