Irene J. "Bobbie" (McCabe) Wollar

Irene "Bobbie" Wollar passed away peacefully at home on Monday, March 1, 2021, at the age of 95.  She was born May 10, 1925, in Elgin, IL.  Irene married Burnell Wollar on January 26, 1945 and they had one son, Phillip Carl Wollar.

She is survived by her loving husband, Burnell Wollar; daughter-in-law Beth Lynn Wollar; grandson Michael, and granddaughter, Stephanie.

She was preceded in death by her son Philip; sister, Rosemary; and parents, Terrence and Ethel McCabe.

Irene enjoyed bowling and golf, volunteering as an Election Judge, working for Illinois Bell Telephone Company and Encyclopedia Britannica in Chicago IL as well as volunteering as a teacher’s aid at the middle school.
