Isabel Davila, 95, of McHenry passed away peacefully with her children by her side on April 10, 2022. She was born on March 6, 1927 in San Juan, Puerto Rico to Juan and Concepcion Duran.
Isabel was a devout Christian. She was a faithful, long-time member of Unity Church in New York and Orlando, FL. She also loved to write poetry, sing and compose songs.
Above all, Isabel was a loving mother and devoted wife of 36 years to Edmond Davila, until his passing.
Isabel is survived by her children, Elizabeth (Edin) Mehanovic of McHenry, IL and Edward Davila of Palatine, IL; granddaughter, Leslie Davila; and by many nieces, nephews and family.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and by her siblings.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 16, from 10:30 AM until the 11:30 AM service at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014. Interment to follow at Windridge Memorial Park Cemetery, Cary.
