The funeral service for Ivan K. Lukey, 79, of Barrington, will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, November 25, at The Village Church of Barrington, 1600 E. Main St. (Lake-Cook Road), Barrington. Burial will be private in Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington.
There will also be a visitation from 4:30-7:00 p.m., Saturday, November 23, at the Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St., Barrington.
Born June 6, 1934, in Highland Park, MI, he passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2013, at Rush University Hospital, Chicago.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley (nee Brower), whom he married May 1, 1954; children, James I. (Cynthia) Lukey of Harvard, Laurie (Brad) Loy of Woodland Park, CO, Ann Helmer of Barrington, Dean (Rita) Lukey of Harvard, and Maria Gregory of Crystal Lake; 17 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and sister, Joan (Blair) Martin of Naperville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Karl and Alwyn (nee Richards) Lukey.
