Jack Bradley

Capt. Jack E. Bradley, 78, of Crystal Lake passed away peacefully on January 14, 2016. He was born on May 1, 1937 in Center, Colorado to Arlie and Fannie (nee Mills) Bradley.

In his early career, Jack was employed as a flight instructor, charter pilot and airplane salesman for Southwestern Skyways in Santa Fe and later in Albuquerque NM. He was also employed by Lothman Construction Co. of Albuquerque, NM as Chief Pilot. He subsequently, along with his brother Bill, ran the airport fixed base operation in Alamosa, CO. He then joined United Airlines as a pilot.

Jack was a pilot for United Airlines for 27 years. He enjoyed working on cars and his home, snowmobiling and he was an avid bicycle rider. He was united in marriage to Lois “Ann” (nee McIntire) on June 11, 1960 in Alamosa, Colorado. They celebrated nearly 50 years of marriage until her death in 2010.

Survivors include his children, David (Sandra) Bradley, Lori Bradley and Daniel Bradley; grandchildren, Jason Bradley, Olivia (Tyler) Sanders, Heather (Ethan) Lord, Mariah (Evan) Albrethsen, and Dylan Bradley; great-grandchildren, Chloe, Chase, Adalyn, McKenzie, Kinsley and Ellie; brother, Bill Bradley.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 18, 2016, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 480 N. Walkup Road, Crystal Lake at 1:00pm.
