Jacquelyn Ann Lidge, (92) passed away on Monday, June 27, 2016, surrounded by her beloved family. She will be dearly missed by her loving children, Ralph Jr. (Alicia), Patricia, and Chris (Peggy) Lidge; her beloved grandchildren, Bradley (Lindsay) Lidge, Catherine (Dylan) Rogers, Brian Milburn, Christopher (Angela) Milburn, Michael, Maggie, Dylan, and Ryan Lidge; her great-grandchildren, Avery and Rowan Lidge, Olivia Rogers, and Rosie and Josephine Milburn; her brother, Peter (Marilyn) Johnson; and several loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m., Friday, July 1, 2016 at Davenport Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Rd.), Barrington. Visitation will resume at the First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights, 302 N. Dunton Ave., Arlington Heights Saturday, July 2, 2016 from 9 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 10 a.m. Interment will be private at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Arlington Heights.
Jacquelyn attended nursing school at Presbyterian Hospital in Chicago during WWII, at which time she met her future husband, who was an orthopedic surgeon. She was an established artist specializing in oil floral painting, and served as a past president of the Arlington Heights Woman’s Club.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ralph T. Lidge M.D.; her beloved son, Thomas; and her parents, George P. and Francis (nee Kreiling)
