James Davis

James Davis of Eagan, MN, was born May 15, 1958. He passed away peacefully December 8, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.

Jim was a graduate of DePauw University where he was a proud member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity.  He received his Master’s Degree from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN and worked in sales and marketing for 3M for nearly 40 years.  Jim earned the rank of Eagle Scout, loved music, and was an avid concert goer.  He enjoyed golfing and traveling but more than anything he loved spending time with his family.

Jim is survived by his wife, the love of his life for 34 years, Anna; children, Elizabeth (Robert) Davis-Mettelman, and Michael Davis; mother, Sally Davis; brothers, Bradley and Peter; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Sherman W. Davis.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30am Saturday, December 19th at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 N. Ela Street, Barrington with visitation 1 hour prior to the mass at church. Burial will follow at Windridge Memorial Park in Cary.
