James Rainbolt, III

James Harrison "GI Jim" Rainbolt III, 72, of Crystal Lake, IL, died, Friday, September 26, 2014, at home after losing his brief battle with cancer. James, retired, was a husband, father, a friend to many, and everyone's favorite DJ at Hi-Tide Campground.
James is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Mickey Rainbolt; his seven children, James IV(Michelle), Stephen, Barbara (Craig) Schultz, Kenneth (Doris), Matthew (Criselda), Suzanne, and Jonathon; twelve grandchildren; sisters, Kathleen, and Rosemary (Roger) Vergin ; brothers, Robert, William, and Paul (Diana) Blandon; Aunt Sody, and numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents James Harrison Jr. and Elsie Rose Rainbolt, of East St. Louis, IL.
Visitation will be held from 12:00pm until the time of service at 4:00pm, Saturday, October 4, at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave (Rt. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014. Burial will be held privately.
