James McTague

James C. McTague, 82 of Crystal Lake, formerly of Chicago, was born July 9, 1930 in Chicago to Charles and Sarah McTague and passed away January 25, 2013 at his home in Crystal Lake, surrounded by his loving family.

James was the beloved husband for 58 years of Arleene (nee Jakowski), loving father of Kevin (Sue), James Jr., Michael (Patricia), Kathleen (James) Nugent, and Thomas, dear grandfather of Kaitlyn, Kelley, Sean, Cassidy Rose, Bridget, Carly, Tommy, Patrick, Madeline, and Emmett.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Eileen, and brother, Thomas.

Visitation will be 9am until 11:30am Monday, Jan. 28 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave (Route 176), Crystal Lake, followed by 12 noon Mass at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 451 W. Terra Cotta Ave (Route 176), Crystal Lake. Interment will be private.
