James “Jim” Morrow
CRYSTAL LAKE—James R. Morrow, 79, of Crystal Lake, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2014, in Crystal Lake.
He was born February 24, 1935, in Detroit, MI, and married Charlotte Puls on December 21, 1957.
Mr. Morrow was an employee for AAL (now Thrivent) for 31 years. He was honorably discharged from the US Navy and served actively from 1952-1955, and the Reserves from 1955-1960.
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte; children, Martin (Kathleen) Morrow, Julie Andrews, Wendy (Bryan) Toenies, and Jamie (Brian) Bremer; grandchildren, Crystal and Kelli Morrow, Christopher and Parker Toenies, and Joshua and Jordyn Bremer; sister, Nancy Knight; and brother, Thomas Morrow.
The visitation will be Friday, October 24, from 4-7 p.m., at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Route 176), Crystal Lake.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 25, at the funeral home. Burial will be private in Windridge Cemetery, Cary.
