James Bernard Sparks

James B. Sparks, 72, of Wauconda passed away peacefully on September 19 ^th , 2017 surrounded by his loving family and friends.

Jim served in the United State Navy for four years to which he took great pride in throughout his life. He loved watching the Chicago Cubs, Bears and Blackhawks compete every year, playing Spades, Poker and golf with friends and family, riding bikes in the summer with his wife Robyn and above all being a devoted father and grandfather.

Jim was a beloved husband to Robyn, brother to Edith, John and his late sister Sue, father to his late son Jimmy, Russell, Adar, Galeet and Ryan, and grandfather to Lauryn, Joseph, Willow and Ari. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

A memorial celebrating Jim’s life will be held September 21 ^st , from 4 PM to 8 PM with a funeral service beginning at 7 PM at the Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014.  Burial to follow the next day at 10:30 AM at the Windridge Memorial Park in Cary, IL.
