James "Jim" Munn

James “Jim” Munn, 72, of Cary, IL, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on May 16, 2021. He was born on April 23, 1949 in Park Ridge, IL to Donald and Gloria Munn, and was a loving father to Jason (Amber) Munn and Justin (Anna) Munn as well as a devoted grandfather to Adia and Jayden.

Jim had a passion for music and was a talented guitar player. He was known for his unflinching support of the Cubs and Blackhawks, and was also an award winning painter of miniature military figures. Jim’s determined personality and wry sense of humor endeared almost everyone he met and will truly be missed by his friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his dear brother Donald Munn and partner Marlene Higgins.

A Celebration of Jim’s life will be held at 11am, Saturday, August 7th at Living Grace Community Church,  1500  Silver Lake Road, Cary, IL 60013.
