Jami Soukup

Jami Rae Soukup, 36, of Crystal Lake, died unexpectedly Friday, November 28, 2014. She was born June 1, 1978 to Robert and Bonnie (nee Salzman) in Lake Forest.

Jami loved all animals, working with many animal shelters throughout the area. In addition to all of her own pets, she was a foster mother to over 100 kittens.

Jami is survived by her loving parents, Robert and Bonnie; siblings; Stacey (Ross) Pajich, and William (Jenny) Soukup; nieces and nephews, Jackson and C ooper Pajich, and Will and Rosie Soukup; uncle and aunt Kevin (Becky) Monahan; cousins, Ryan Monahan and Tim (Tristin) Monahan; and close friend Richard Rhodes. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

A Celebration of Jami’s Life will be held from 11am until 2pm, Saturday, December 6 at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave (Route 176), Crystal Lake.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jami’s name may be made to the Animal House Shelter of Huntley, www.animalhouseshelter.com.
