Jan Alice Isenberg

Jan Alice Isenberg, 74, of Lake Zurich, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2022. She was born on March 2, 1948 in Chicago to the late Edward and Beverly Koranda.

On September 21, 1985, Jan married Lowell Isenberg. Together, they celebrated almost 37 beautiful years of marriage. They were blessed with one daughter, Elizabeth, and further blessed with two grandchildren, Clara and Henrik.

Jan’s career spanned for 45 years as she served as a flight attendant for United Airlines.
She had a love of interior design, which showed in every home she touched and mentoring many other friends and family along the way with decorating tips and ideas. Jan also enjoyed cooking and  experimenting with new recipes, no two dishes were the same.

Jan will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Lowell Isenberg; daughter, Elizabeth (Jeff) Horvath; grandchildren, Clara and Henrik; her siblings, Karen (John) O’Keefe, Robert (Patricia) Koranda, and Mark (Peggy) Koranda; and by many nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Edward Koranda, sister Marjorie Kristine Koranda.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 11 AM until the funeral service at 1:30 PM at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Old Rand Rd., Lake Zurich, IL 60047. Interment will be private.
