Jan Reynolds

Jan H. Reynolds, age 84, of Lake in the Hills, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2025.

Born on March 3, 1940, in Cambridge, Ohio, he was the son of the late Herland John and Clarice Reynolds. Jan married Beverly J. Marrale on June 25, 1966, in Zanesville, Ohio. Together, they shared a life full of love and cherished memories.

An avid golfer, Jan was known for his impressive skills and numerous titles, including multiple Club Championships. In his retirement, he enjoyed being a starter at Foxford Hills in Cary and Las Sendas in Arizona. Jan graduated from Ohio University and began his career at Anchor Hocking in Lancaster, Ohio. He and his family moved to Crystal Lake in 1981, where he later retired as Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Haeger Potteries.

Jan is survived by his wife, Beverly; his children, Andrew (Theresa) Reynolds and Tiffany Cajthaml; and his cherished grandchildren, Avery Menzimer, Carson and Jake Reynolds, Colin and Chloe Cajthaml, along with his great-grandson, Kanon Kyles. They call him "Bankie". He was preceded in death by his sisters, Gloria White and E. Jeanne Swope.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Jan will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.
