Joanna “Jane” Cecilia Witczak
Of Elmwood Park for 50 years and Barrington for 12 years.

Born March 16, 1918 in Chicago to Laudislaus and Mary (nee Brendal) Bobka, passed away peacefully May 27, 2013 in Barrington, surrounded by her loving family.

Jane was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, listening to her beloved Cubbies when she passed away.

Jane is survived by her husband of 73 years Ambrose Witczak, children, Joyce Stockler; Terrance (Jo Ann) Witczak, Marcia (William) Boone, and Phyllis (Michael) Jung, nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren, and her brother Edwin (Bernadette) Bobka. She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, and one sister.

Memorial visitation will be held from 9:30am until the time of the service at 11am Saturday, June 1 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St (Lake-Cook), Barrington IL. Burial will be private at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Catholic Charities, 721 N. LaSalle, Chicago IL 60654, or to Barrington Area Council on Aging, Meals on Wheels, 6000 Garlands Lane, Suite 100, Barrington IL 60010.
