Jean Rydzinski

Jean Rydzinski, formerly of Des Plaines, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at the age of 96.

She was born April 23, 1924 in Chicago, the daughter of the late Louis and Stella (nee Firlet) Smolak.

Jean is survived by her daughters, Marlene Hill and Cheryl (John) Mostowski; grandchildren, Tammy (Bob) Eberl, Nicole (Phil) Hoolehan, Kristy (Nate) Habeck, Robert (Kacey) Rupczynski, and Michele (Kurt) Perignon; great-grandchildren, Brandon and Michael Eberl, Haley and Sean Hoolehan, Lexi, Ellie and Tyler Habeck, Madison and Noah Rupczynski, and Xander and Logan Perignon; brother, John (Anne) Smolak; niece, Linda (Don) Chance; and nephew, Danny (Eileen) Smolak.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank Rydzinski; sister, Helen Giza; and great-grandson, Michael Mostowski.

Jean’s family would like to sincerely thank the director and staff of Melody Living Lake in the Hills for their expert love and care for Jean. They went above and beyond for her.

Services for Jean will be held privately for her family.
