Jean Schoepke

Born September 16, 1931 in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Jean passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 in Barrington at the age of 83.

Jean and Hollis were married for 61 wonderful years. Jean enjoyed playing tennis, animals, travel and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to her loving husband, Hollis, she is survived by her children, Nancy (Ronald) Curran, Bob (Beth) Schoepke; grandchildren, Erin (John) Timur, Bryan (Anjuli) Curran, Sean Curran, Brett Curran, Kevin Schoepke, Matthew Curran, and Lauren Schoepke; and brother, James (Audrey) Steel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Jean Steel and twin daughters Ruth and Sally Schoepke.

A memorial service will be held Friday, June 5, 2015 at 10 a.m. at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 647 Dundee Ave., Barrington, IL 60010.

Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to the American Lung Association or the SPCA.
