Jeanne (Dluzen) Monaco

Jeanne J. Monaco, loving wife, mother of two and grandmother of ten, passed away at the age of 67, on Tuesday, April 7, 2020.

Jeanne was born on April 18, 1952, in Chicago, Illinois. On March 3, 1973, she married Lawrence V. Monaco and they raised one son John, and one daughter Jennifer.

Jeanne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved boating and her summer home getaway. Jeanne was creative, quick-witted with an infectious smile and had a kind, compassionate spirit. She was never too busy to listen. Jeanne loved spending time with all her grandchildren. She was an extraordinary cook and loved when family and friends came over for dinner.  Jeanne always went that “extra mile” for everyone.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Geraldine.  She is survived by her husband, Larry; two children John (Rachael) and Jennifer (Joe Parks); grandchildren, Alyssa, Ashley, Bella, Johnny, Leo (Monaco), Sophia, Eli, Josie, Tate, Lila (Parks).  Jeanne is further survived by her father, Stanley Dluzen; sisters, Frances Horner, and Gerry Prorok; and brothers Fred, Frank, Edward and Robert  Dluzen.

A memorial visitation will be on Saturday, July 18th from 9:30 am until the time of a funeral service at 11:30 am at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake.
