Jeanne Olszewski (nee Bilansky)
Of Barrington

Born in Chicago to Michael and Julia Bilansky, Jeanne passed away peacefully August 9, 2014 in Barrington.

Jeanne worked in reservations at United Airlines for twenty years, retiring in 1994. She was an avid golfer, especially proud of her Hole in One at Bonnie Dundee Golf Course on July 12, 2006. Jeanne and her husband loved to travel and were fortunate to visit many destinations at home and abroad.

While her children were in school, Jeanne served as PTA President and was a school board member for District 4 in Addison.

Jeanne is survived by her husband Louis Olszewski, whom she married April 7, 1956 in Chicago, her children; Kim (Paul) Crawford and Kurt Olszewski, grandchildren; Michael and Thomas Olszewski, and Brigid Crawford, and many nieces, nephew, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Irene Hrymak.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am Wednesday, August 13 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 410 N. First St, Cary, where family will be receiving friends from 9am until the time of the mass. Entombment in All Saints Catholic Cemetery following mass.

Visitation will be 3-8pm Tuesday, August 12 at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 149 W. Main St (Lake-Cook), Barrington.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia Research Foundation, 3520 Lake Ave, Suite 202, Wilmette, IL 60091, or to a charity of your choice.
