Jeannie M. Babikan, 50, of Oakwood Hills, was born September 11, 1967 in Chicago to Walter and Adele (nee McLean) Boyle. She passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at her home in Oakwood Hills.
Jeannie was a very passionate woman; she cared more for others than her own wellbeing. She was artistic, loving to express herself through drawings, paintings, and dancing. She loved to garden, bake treats, and to help others whether it was taking in a weary road traveler in for the night, or making meals for the homeless at church. She was an exceptional sales woman, whose drive and personality made her one of the best in her profession. But her most outstanding trait was her love for life and other people and when she used the words “I love you”, she meant it unconditionally. She left this world way too soon, but undoubtedly left marks on every life she touched. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Steven Babikan; her son, Nicholas Babikan; and her siblings, John (Andrea) Boyle, Matt (Sheila) Boyle, Mark Boyle, and Beth Ann Boyle-Gilbert.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Christopher Boyle.
A memorial visitation will be held from 3pm until time of memorial service at 8pm, Sunday, September 9, 2018, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake.
