Jeff Hunter

Jeff Hunter, 59, of Barrington, passed away surrounded by family on Monday, July 2, 2018.
He was born December 30, 1958 in Ft. Riley, KS, the son of Donald B. and Juanita (nee Shields) Hunter.

Jeff was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hike, birdwatch and fish. He loved rooting for the Miami Dolphins, but mostly enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He will be forever remembered for his unrelenting positivity and wise counsel to all.

Jeff was a loving husband to his wife, Nita Hunter (nee Coniglio) and beloved father to his children, Brad, Cory and Morgan Hunter. Additionally, he is survived by his father, Donald; siblings, Diane Estes, Rick Hunter and Alison Hunter; and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Juanita.

Friends are welcome to visit Jeff’s family on Monday, July 9, 2018 from 3-8 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S Old Rand Rd., Lake Zurich, IL 60047. Visiting will continue the following day. Tuesday. July 10 from 11 a.m. until prayers at 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Procession will follow to Lutheran Church of the Atonement, 909 E Main St., Barrington, for the funeral service at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Mount Emblem Cemetery, Elmhurst.
