Jeffery Alger

Jeffery Paul Alger, 53, of Woodstock and formerly of Crystal Lake, passed away Monday, July 30, 2012 at his home.

Born on April 3,1959, in Evergreen Park, he was the son of Joseph John and Claire M. (nee Krieps) Alger.

Jeffery is survived by brothers and sisters, Joseph (Mary) Alger, Jean Alger, Cathy Skates, Jerome (Geri) Alger, and Christine (Richard) Fehns; and many dear nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, baby brother James Alger, and brother-in-law Michael Skates.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10am today, Wednesday, August 1 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 451 W Terra Cotta Ave. (IL Rt. 176) in Crystal Lake where family will receive friends at 9am until the Mass. Interment will be private at St. Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park.
