Jeffrey Anderson

Jeffrey Lynn Anderson, 57, of Crystal Lake, IL passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Jeff married Sherry Marie Lopez in 1984 and they lived in the Crystal Lake area for most of their married life together.

He worked in the hospitality industry. Jeff always had a cheerful outlook and was truly one of life's most positive persons. He was the best friend, best listener, and loudest cheerleader of every person who knew him. His family was always his priority. He always told his wife and children "I love you all the way up to the stars!" He lived life to the fullest and took his family on a dream vacation to Hawaii where zip lining, hiking, luau's and the beautiful beaches were shared. Other family trips included numerous trips to Daytona Beach, FL, Las Vegas, and camping trips.

Jeff had a passion for motorcycles and 1960s rock and roll music. Jeff spent every spare moment riding, polishing, and upgrading his Yamaha motorcycles. On a sunny day off from work, you could find him cruising on the bike making a run to Gene Judes for the hotdogs he loved so much.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Sherry Marie (Lopez) Anderson; his children, Kenneth Timothy Anderson and Ashley Lynn Anderson; and his sisters, Carol Joy (Dan) White and Laura Ann (Randall) Gosell. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews and extended family.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents Joanne Helen and Kenneth Ernest Anderson.

All who love him are absolutely sure he is riding his Yamaha through the streets of heaven with the music blasting!

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society.

Visitation will be Friday, October 26 from 4-9pm with a eulogy service at 7pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (IL Rt. 176), Crystal Lake. Interment is private.
