Jeffrey P. Arison, 38, of Crystal Lake, formerly of St. Petersburg, FL, was freed from ALS on April 4, 2018.
Jeff was the sweet son of Sheila and the late Ronald Arison; amazing brother to his sisters, Colleen (Jim) Anderson, Kellie Arison, and Annie Arison; and an awesome uncle to Jake and Grace Anderson. Jeff is further survived by many loving and supportive aunts, uncles, cousins, and “framily”. He was a big brother, best friend, mentor and hero to many.
Jeff was a strong advocate to find a cure for ALS. He was a member of the NEALS (Northeast Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), Les Turner patient advocacy, new patient mentor, and motivational support group speaker.
Jeff’s contagious smile, positivity, love for the Cubs and passion for music will never be forgotten. Our world will not be the same without Jeffy. He will be missed more than words can say.
You are welcome to visit with Jeff’s family on Saturday, April 7, from 9:30 AM until the time of mass at 11:00 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 1023 McHenry Ave., Crystal Lake. A celebration of life will be held in St. Petersburg, FL at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial to one of the following organizations that has supported Jeff and our family: The Les Turner Foundation at www.lesturner.org or 5550 W.
