Jeffrey Alan Rouhandeh

Jeffrey Alan Rouhandeh, 57, of Village of Lakewood passed away peacefully on March 7, 2016. He was born on September 16, 1958 in Manhattan, KS to Hassan and Mary Lou (nee Heath) Rouhandeh.

Jeffrey was a proud graduate of Southern Illinois University, for both his undergraduate and law degrees. He was especially proud of founding the SIU Boxing Team. Jeffrey practiced law for over 30 years and was a partner at Caldwell, Berner & Caldwell in Woodstock, IL. He was a devoted father and husband who loved spending time with his family. He greatly enjoyed the company of his pets as well as traveling, gardening and particularly caring for his fruit trees. His sense of humor and generosity will be greatly missed by family, friends and colleagues.

Jeffrey will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 19 years, Terry (nee Nebel); his children, Alex (17), Austin (15) and Alayna (12); his mother, Mary Lou; his brothers, Steve (Lynn), Glenn and Jim (Stephanie) Rouhandeh; his nieces, Sophie, Kate, Chloe, Audrey and Charlotte; his pets, Daisy, Lily and Roger. Many loving relatives, friends and colleagues also survive.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hassan.

Memorial visitation will be Friday, March 11, 2016 from 5 PM until 8PM at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014. The memorial service will be Saturday, March 12 at 2 PM at First Congregational Church, 461 Pierson St., Crystal Lake, IL 60014. Interment will be private.
