Jennifer Meale

Jennifer Rose Meale (nee DeVries), 37 of Harvard, passed away Monday, May 14, 2012 due to an automobile accident.

Born on January 3, 1975 in Elgin, Illinois, she was the daughter of Tim and Connie (nee Conrad) DeVries.

Jenny attended Fox River Grove elementary and middle schools, Cary-Grove High School where she excelled academically and in sports, and graduated from Rockford College with a Bachelor's Degree.

She was united in marriage to Daniel Meale on November 14, 1998.

Throughout her life, Jenny was a positive, smiling, and loving person. She worked as a counselor, customer service representative, and as a purchasing agent. She had a strong faith in God and was devoted to her entire family. All who knew her will miss her smile, joking nature, and her unique laugh.

She is survived by her loving husband Dan; her daughter Sarah; her parents; her brother Darren (Jessy) DeVries; her father-in-law Robert Meale; sister-in-law Kathie (Phil) Teeter; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her son Andrew and mother-in-law Loretta Meale.

The visitation for Jenny will be held from 3-8pm, Friday, May 18 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (IL Rt. 176), Crystal Lake. The service will begin at 10am, Saturday, May 19 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W Main St (Lake-Cook Rd), Barrington. Interment will be private for the family at Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington.

Memorials may be made to the family for Sarah's education.
