Jerry DeVere Guest

Jerry DeVere Guest was born July 27, 1944 in Galveston, TX to Wayne and Sophie Guest.  He passed away at his home August 1, 2021.

Jerry always loved being outdoors and participating in any outdoor activity. For a very long time, his passion was taking his boat out with his friends and fishing on Lake Michigan. Most recently, he’s enjoyed hunting and just spending time on his farm in Central Illinois.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 45 years, Jacquelyn “Jackie” Guest; brother, Wayne Guest Jr. (Carolyn); nieces, Rebecca (Thomas) Peters and Joanna (Andy) Zantow; nephew, David (Candace) Guest; and many dear friends and neighbors.

Visitation will be 1pm until the memorial service at 2:30pm, Saturday, August 7 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W Main St (Lake Cook Road). Barrington.
