Jerry was born September 16, 1999 to Raul Meza Barrios and Ofelia Salazar. He is survived by his parents and siblings; Adaliz Meza, Joel Salazar, Alexis Meza, and Raul Meza.
Jerry was an avid musician, playing many instruments including guitar. He loved to skate, cook, teach, play board games, and UNO. Jerry created his own music style and wanted to start a band, tour, and have crowds of people hear his music.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 12 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rt. 176), Crystal Lake. On Saturday, April 13, his Funeral Mass will be held at 12pm at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 451 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. Burial will follow at Ascension Cemetery, 1920 Buckley Rd., Libertyville.
Memorial donations to the family would be appreciated.
