Jill Bohrnell

Jill Bohrnell, of Woodstock, formally from Barrington and Huntley passed away April 8, 2023 at the age of 83.

She was born November 26, 1939 in Chicago, the daughter of the late Thage and Gladys (nee Nitz) Uddberg.

Jill was a 1957 Graduate of North Park Academy and studied at Bradley University and North Park College. Jill had a 25-year career as a Barrington Realtor/Broker. She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed quilting, cooking and gardening.

Jill was the beloved mother of  Stephen (Brenda) Bohrnell, Wadsworth, IL, Britta (Peter) Wasem, Lake Barrington, IL, and Erik (Dione) Bohrnell, Woodstock, IL; loving “Mormor” of Casey Bohrnell, Kirsten (Young) Chang, Kristina, Sierra, and Cameron Wasem,  and William and Kyle Bohrnell; loving “Stora Mormor” to Payton Crawford; and loving Aunt to Ellen Uddberg, Murray, KY.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bertil S. Bohrnell; her loving mother, Gladys (Nitz) Uddberg; loving dad & step-mom, Thage and Robbie (Jones) Uddberg; and her dear brother, Jack Uddberg.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Saturday, June 3, at Lake Barrington Shores Lodge.
