Joan Paddock
February 8, 1930 — August 6, 2016
Joan Marie (nee Bryant) Paddock, formerly of Barrington, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, August 6, 2016.
She was born February 8, 1930 in Spring Valley, Illinois to James and Mary (nee Kuzma) Bryant. Joan grew up in Dixon, IL.
For years she was a very active lady as she enjoyed bowling, golfing, square dancing, jazzercise, and gardening. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society, and had a true love for dogs. Joan was involved in her community as a parishioner of St. Anne’s Catholic Church of Barrington and additionally volunteered at Catchpenny.
Joan is survived by her children, Marcy, Bob, Linda, and Verne (Melissa); her grandchildren, Ryan, Katie, Bobby, Molly, Grace, Camille, and Jack; her great-grandchildren, Chloe, and Archer; and her former husband, Robert L. Paddock. She will be dearly missed by her very large extended family.
The visitation will be held, Wednesday, August 10 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 6:00 p.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 Ela St., Barrington. Burial will be held the following day, August 11 at 11:30 a.m. at Valley Memorial Park, Spring Valley, Illinois.
