Joan Robaczewski

Crystal Lake - Joan C. Robaczewski (nee Walsh), 66, of Crystal Lake passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, June 4, 2013. She was born September 24, 1946 to William and Shirley (Madsen) Walsh in Chicago.

Joan was deeply devoted to her husband as a loving wife, her children, grandchildren and family. Above all, she was a believer in our Risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Joan’s warm heart and caring nature will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She sought to honor the Lord in all things. God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put his arms around you and whispered, “Come to Me”.

In addition to her husband of 48 years, Chester, Joan is survived by her loving children, Debra, David (Karen), and Darin (Sandy); grandchildren, Ashley, Austin, Brittany, Lindsey, Brian, Erika, Jamie, Randall, Timothy, and Daniel; brothers, William, Daniel, and Michael; sister Kathleen (Edward) McCann; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A visitation will be held Sunday, June 9 from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (IL Rt 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014. A short visitation will be held the following day, Monday, June 10 at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. with a procession to St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 451 W Terra Cotta Ave (IL Rt 176), Crystal Lake for the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine.
